I push the flop just as I would with a set

someone almost always calls. I like being a few percentage points favored and flipping coins with an overlay.

Folding here is terrible IMO. If you think you are drawing to a lower flush then the move is to push. The only hand you'd be worried about getting called by then is Ah Th.

Ideally CO or someone out there has a set so you can get it all in.

I'm having trouble seeing why this is ideal.

I'd rather get it all in here then risk further action on the turn. We are never folding this on the flop and we can't call an overbet on the turn.

However calling may be better.

Personally, I'd rather get blasted out on the turn after just calling the flop than get all-in versus a set on the flop.

If I knew a set was out there, I wouldn't even consider a flop raise.

Thinking back to when I played this hand...my logic goes along the lines of how you're thinking here.

I don't think that raising here is ideal. As a matter of fact, I think that it's very likely that after a bet, a call and a raise, you're drawing to a lower flush than your opponents and/or are looking at a split if you make your straight.

I'd muck the flop.

[/ QUOTE ]

Theres no chance you'd ever call in this spot???

Woah. That's rediculously weak-tight. Even if you are unfortunate and get all-in vs. a higher flush draw, you have 8 outs. And that's a WORST-case scenario.

If you muck flops like this then I sincerely hope you muck this preflop and save yourself $.50, because it's completely wasted.

I was going to point out that the outs situation versus a higher flush is a little more complicated than this, but then it occurred to me that "8 outs" isn't really that far off as an approximation for our 12 turn outs that would face a 7-13 out redraw if we caught.

Hell, I'm just gonna Stove it.

Done. We appear to have about 34 percent equity versus, for instance, AhQh.

I'm not even sure if you should call, let alone raise. if HU ur fd looks pretty good, but with 6 ppl seeing the flop its quite marginal. you only have 6 clean outs.

BOmb that flop. Get rid of higher flush draws, plus there is a ton of dead money sitting out there from people who don't like their hands too much, but aren't too sure what to do with them either.

Folding this flop in position is insanity.
