You need to be more aggressive, that check on the turn symbolizes weakenss and you should have raised him around what he raised you on the river. I think that you have to fold the river, unless you have a read on him.

I have resigned myself to the outlook that if you are going to consider calling a questionable river when you haven't improved then your money is better spent on a strong play on the turn - I've more or less made it a policy in my game.

Re-raise the flop.

Push turn.

You are definitely calling this river.

You should be betting about $3 on this turn to make drawing hands pay to see the next card and for weaker hands to pay you off.
