when the 7 hit on the turn i kind of froze up as i knew that 65 just made the ungodly nuts so i passively checked.

after he bet 2200 and I realized i had flush outs as well i forced my stack into the middle. luckily he folded and i scooped his 4k right then and there.

why are people against a 3-bet here? this seems like such an obvious 3-bet. no way in hell villain is folding AA/KK to someone with an aggro image (which i assume grim has) to a 3-bet on the flop.

if villain is aggressive i play the turn like you did. if not, i bet and call allin.

i've got no problem with the way you played it; you beat aa OMG TEH NUTS

plus even if he miraculously has you beat you've got redraw outs. what's not to like?

I would like a flop smooth call and a call or showdown raise on the turn now that you have a flush draw as well

The flop play is good for tons of factors. His raise looks a lot like AJ AA, your image is always crazy, he wont be expecting you to 3 bet legit here often as you'd most likely call, ala Yeti Theorm, and this is HotMark.

Assuming you have no reads on villain. I think the only hands with which a reasonable player would call both preflop(with four players yet to act) and postflop raises are JJ, QQ, KK,and AA. You beat 75% of these holdings(87% if you consider that there are only three possible JJ holdings because J showed on flop.). AK, AQ, AJ, 56s could call preflop but not postflop raise. Some might say they would call with 3c4c, 33, and 44. That only increases the number of hands that beat you by three. You would still be more than 2 to 1 favorite. AK, AQ, AJ, 56s could call preflop but not postflop raise. I like c-r all-in on the turn. Grimstarr, what do you think of this analysis?
