Default bottom 2 semi-deep

opponent is hotmark777 who is a kinda decent regular with slightly laggy stats. i've seen him overplay medium strength hands before in the past.

my image is pretty solid right now and this is the first time i have raised preflop with a "speculative holding" at this table today. in general though i am known for making these kinds of plays preflop moreso than most other regulars.

Grim: the only thing i see that you can beat is a slowplayed big pair. I probably fold here.

Dry board, WTF do you think he's got when he bets the turn? The only draw just got there. You have a redraw, but you need more fold equity to get all in here.

I can't see him betting one pair on the turn unless he is truly retarded. If he did, try to play against him more often. But against anyone reasonable this is usually a set or a turned straight.

Really? I probably would have made it 2100 so I can push the turn for a PSB but I really like playing this hand this fast.

Sure, on a drawy board. On this board WTF calls the flop 3-bet that hero can beat? Unless villain REALLY overvalues one pair I am not a fan.

I like it. If he has a set or made a straight on turn, so be it. IŽd bet the turn often but this c/r is just fine I think.

I don't think going to the felt with, say, AA here against Grim is really overplaying his hand...
