Re: Restrict cashout method to Neteller, fighting back hackers?
In my opinion, it's difficult to get the money out without leaving a trail.

Re: Restrict cashout method to Neteller, fighting back hackers?
what if we all emailed vip@party, told them about what was going on & linked the threads, and asked them to start a policy to delay the first cashout to a moneybookers account for 3 days?

Re: Restrict cashout method to Neteller, fighting back hackers?
It would probably work. The problem is getting everyone to email them.
Party is a typical big business. They think about things like a lot of companies with a monopoly think about things. If you understand this, you can understand why they do the things they do. Their customer service sucks because there isn't a big enough financial incentive for them to improve it. The same thing goes for people who get their account pillaged. It doesn't hurt them. As long as the 50,000 other current Party players think they're secure, why should they care about you losing your money? You're not going to see Party's security improve, or their customer service improve, until they feel their business is threatened. |

Re: Restrict cashout method to Neteller, fighting back hackers?
ive actually got party to disable all cashouts aside from neteller and i think anyone who doesn't use other cashout methods should do the same. im surprised stars didn't do that for you, stars support is usually quite good i heard. you can get stars to send you confirmation emails (not just notification) for every transaction. i suppose if the hacker had access to your emaail account also this wouldn't work but i think it's still worth doing.
