Well for instance, the AQ hand where you lost to KJ on the river 10 and when you lost to the river flush.

I am not saying that you misplayed the hand, in fact from your report I felt that you had it pretty well thought out, but if you bet the turn you most likely win the pot and take one more step towards the 12M first prize.

Its complete results oriented thinking and not a slam on your play, I respect your game and your posts and wish that you had made the FT, thats all.

I was upset with this hand as well. A healthy turn bet has to take it down. Initially I was surprised you didn't raise the flop here as well. Can you share your thinking on that?

There was some pretty good discuss about this particular hand in this thread.

As for my thinking, it's pretty much in line with that of those that agree with my line in the thread (i.e., check the turn for pot control, to induce a river bluff, because Villain likely is drawing thin, because of our chip stacks, etc.).

As for raising the flop, the last thing I want to do is bloat this pot when there is a good chance that I am still crushed at this point. The hand would have been real interesting if he fired big again on the turn, at which point, I think I'd be forced to fold.

Rob,
Don't have time to read this but... it was great to meet you there and I think our mixed game needs a trip report... you remember any hands?
