It doesn't say to fold but the only time it's recomended to push all in is if you have less than 10x BB and the %EV of prize pool is over .5% which is only the case here if the other players have tight calling standards. Regardless, when you're not under 10x BB, there's no reason to push. The preflop raise was too big though.

What are you talking about?

You can push when you have more than 10 BB. You can fold when you have 6 BB. There's no 10 BB rule, and thinking that you shouldn't ever push when you have more than 10 BB is absurd. SNGPT doesn't say anything to that effect..and in fact I think it's something like, "You're risking more than 10 BB, you may want to evaluate other options." Meaning you have more room to maneuver, so you should at least consider a play other than pushing. That hardly means that you should never push with more than 10 BB.

Also, the .5% thing isn't necessarily true, and in fact eastbay has recently said he'll make the default min edge 0, because of some confusion over its relevance.

Why do you guys keep twisting my words? I didn't say you can never go all in with more than 10BB. I'm just telling you what the software and tutorial is suggesting. Don't shoot the messenger.

When you write passively, I can't figure out who's making the recommendation. "It's recommended" means, to me, that something is a generally accepted idea that the majority of good players recommend. It's not the same as "SNGPT recommends."

I interpetted this pretty clearly, I think. If you meant something else, say something else.

This is completely ridiculous of you to say considering that these last 6 posts are all in response to me saying that SNGPT recommends not to push. That's what I'm referencing. Duhhh.
