About calling cold raises preflop:
In no limit it is often advisable to do so giving the implied odds nature of the game. For instance, with a pair of 2's as your hole cards, calling a raise from somebody with pocket aces and then flopping a set on a ragged looking flop often leads to you taking their entire stack.

I have a similar problem with starting hand selection between NL and limit and adjusting back and forth.
