Yah good point jba, I guess that would give me the initiative + quite possibly give me a free card..

Gee, I always tell myself that my massive breakeven stretch "isn't really effecting my game at all".. I think I'm lying to myself.

This is a hand where I underestimated the strength of my draw and may have misplayed.

Villain is cts who I believe is a high stakes NL 2+2er, and has been playing pretty straight up, although he seemed to run card hot, 38.1/25.7/2.8 over 158 hands. This is the only time he's 3-bet me and he hasn't shown down any surprises.

PokerStars 100/200 Hold'em (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].

Flop: (7.50 SB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, MP bets, Hero calls.

Turn: (4.75 BB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, MP bets, Hero calls.

River: (6.75 BB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, MP bets, Hero raises, MP calls.

Final Pot: 10.75 BB

Results in white below:
Hero has 6h Ah (three of a kind, sixes).
MP has Kc Kd (two pair, kings and sixes).
Outcome: Hero wins 10.75 BB.

Mossberg,

I would 3bet the flop there about 100% of the time.

Villian is 86.96/39.13/1.2 over 24 hands - I shouldn't have been trying to steal blinds from this lagtard but I was on the verge of tilting at the time.

My analysis - turn raise is spewy and I'm not sure about the river.

york, your pf raise is for value. Your flop raise is for value, your turn raise is for value. Reason turn raise isn't spewing is the same reason river is close. I think I fold too though. Usually donkfectas are pretty strong hands, like A7 or something.

come on, the flop raise isn't for value. and there's no way the turn raise is for value.

Edit: The great thing about these Villains is they're going to spew against you when you actually hit one of your 15-18 outs worth raising on the river.

on the turn, he's a dog to 52o, bottom pair, bottom kicker, no draw. he's a significant dog to A7o, and he's a dog to unpaired ace high hands like A2o.

if the villian's range on the turn is ANY 2 CARDS, hero has 51% equity. and you're telling me the turn raise is for value? you are way off.

He isn't stop and going any particularly strong hands. Anything that's a two pair, top pair, set or strong draw on the flop can be pretty much tossed.
