All anyone is doing is multiplying their numbers by 0.75.

yeah but the difference of rake presented here, if correct, tells me that perhaps Pokerstars might be a better game for .5/1. I mean we are talking about QUITE a difference in rake here! That might more than make up for slightly tougher opponents.

Yeah, it's a strong consideration. Since Party now nixed rakeback, it looks like the Party players have to be over 2 BB/100 more profitable than the Stars players for playing at Party to be the better plan. If you're playing at the beginners tables, that may very well be the case. If you're at the regular tables, though, you may want to play at Stars.

I agree with you. I think the rake structures are a good starting point for analyzing where it might be attractive to play, but the bottom line is the bottom line. I'd gladly pay more rake to get on a table with more fish. I think you actually have to play at various sites and get a feel for the rake structure vs. the quality of competition. Pacific doesn't seem like it has a particulary attractive rake structure, but I find $1-$2 games with 55% to the flop and 3-4 players going to the river. How can that not be better than playing at a lower rake site again a bunch of rocks.

UB .25/.50 2.05BB/100 (per PT summaries for all players - my personal rake rate is lower at 1.41BB/100 but I play tight)

It should be noted that even though the bonuses at UB are lousy in terms of clearing rate the bonuses at .25/.50 actually more than cover the rake for me at 1.66 vs 1.41 BB/100.

PS 3/6 1.72bb/100 11K hands
FTP 3/6 1.98bb/100 4400 hands (1.43 with 27%)
PTY 3/6 2.04bb/100 2500 hands (1.53 with 25%)

I think for $1.74 /100 hands, I still prefer Stars. But wow, if you add that up over 10K hands......
