Well played on both accounts. Wish I was that quick on my feet... but I don't smoke, so that's not much of a worry for me.

There's a couple things I don't understand. Why didn't you just smoke inside? Why would you say marijuana? Wouldn't lying be better? Oh and did you think the cop really thought you were kidding or do you think he just didn't care?

Either way that is pretty funny.

Convertable + nice weather + weed = good.

In my experience lying is the worst possible thing to do. If they catch you lying even once any chance for leniency is gone.

I could potentially have just dropped the joint next to the center console but I really had no time, and I was making eye contact with the cop when I set it down gently, I had it in my head not to make any suspicious movements once he was looking at me.

lol, nice

this is also the perfect example of how to deal with most cops. Be cool and most of the time they will be cool back. Unless they are some dick rookie or you are doing something majorly [censored] up, in which case it doesnt matter what you do you are effed.

Awesome story. And, may I say, very well played.

Just to bust your balls, though. I don't really view the Miata as that much of a chick's car. More like a gay dude's car.

In all seriousness, I had a couple friends in college who had some. Both had roll bars and one guy put a turbo on his. I have to admit, they were fun to drive.

My Miata has very sticky tires (Falken Azenis) and a racing suspension so it's pretty fun to zip around in haha.

i have driven a turbo miata and it was more fun than riding a rollercoaster on shrooms.

i can't wait for a lot of gay guys to start buying harleys.

when I make a right turn and a single police car with a single cop doing seatbelt checks is about twenty feet into the road I just turned onto.

[/ QUOTE ]

I hate this [censored], a checkpoint for "seatbelt checks". May I see your papers please? Fascist.

Edit: I'm glad he let you go, that cop sounds pretty cool.

Also, wtf is up with smoking while driving? Doesn't sound like a great idea to me.
