true, WTF?!?! you're doing it again (random ass argument tthat is obviously pointless). you know you cant bet fold the turn.
range doesnt matter unless you put him squarely on AT which would be the something only i can do. |

This guy is 45/15 through 19 hands!
I know our goal is to put him on a range and act accordingly, but you cannot deduce what his range is because you have played with him for 3 orbits. We've all seen monkeys cap from all positions when they get excited with Q6 suited in a raised pot because they really feel lucky. While this isn't the norm, it does happen enough that I am going to showdown with ak here pretty much every time. Most of the time I make the crying call on the river after I miss, I kick the cat and move on. When I win, I am elated, make a note, and take the rest of villain's chips. I think way too often on these hand reviews, we assume our villain is a thinking player, when the majority of the time their most profound poker thought is, "this board is scary...I raise!" I realize that what I've just said opens up the "they could be bluffing, so I call" arguement. I don't really know how to respond to that, except to remind you guys not to make big folds or think yourself out of a pot when you have only played 20 hands with someone. 20 hands is nothing. This rant is over. |
