you jam like it's your job, are you [censored] kidding

I don't see why pushing this is right? Do you think that the B&M pros would be pushing right here? Or is this something that done online?

well, it looks like I should have pushed I guess.

Me and villian were both top 10 stacks, and I hate tangling with another big stack where I could just wait for a better spot.

Top 10 don't mean [censored]. You have a spot where you can be either a favorite or a coinflip most of the time with lots of dead money trapped in the middle, and if the bigstack calls you're usually still in a good shape. Winning this hand will either make you a CL or close to it, and THEN you can avoid some close EV spots.

I'm folding...push from EP and called from MP. At best against EP you are even money

[/ QUOTE ]

NO!!
[ QUOTE ]
...no telling what MP3 has, plus he has you covered. You have nothing invested in the pot yet.

[/ QUOTE ]

MP3 doesnt have anything much better than EP ... very wide range here. So PUSH. Very often you'll have MP3 dominated ...

and by the way ... what do you exactly mean by "you have not invested anything in the pot?"

Since when does this figure in any decision???

This post shows alot of bad thinking (not trying to be a jerk, but some things you imply are really bad)

This is very wrong. You have EP, who was a small stack, crushed. Many people are feeling desperate with that stack size, hense the EP push isn't really that scary.

[ QUOTE ]

This is ALWAYS a terrible thing to think. What you have put into the pot is irrelevant 100% of the time. The only thing that matters here (because you are only going to fold or go AI) is the current pot size, to opponents stacksizes, and the possible ranges you put on the opponents.

1. If you are even money against the EP raiser, you should seriously consider pushing because you'd like to force out the big stack.

2. You shouldn't be too worried about an AA or KK hand from the big stack because you have 1 Ace and 1 King. So there are fewer ways the opponent could have AA or KK. Also, many people would over push AA and KK (not everyone, but some would)

3. You could easily push out a hand like 22 - 88 if that is what the big stack holds.

Best solution is to RAISE 30,000 more, there is no way you can call because then MP3 can just bet into you on the flop forcing you to fold. I respect the fold preflop if you limited your options to only folding or calling otherwise YOU ALMOST ALMOST ALWAYS RAISE! BTW what was the outcome of the hand?

this makes no sense and is horrible advice.

a 30K raise leaves you with about 8 BBs.

Now what?

just push PF or fold if you want to hide in the corner and wait for AA/KK/QQ.

Raising less than all-in would only make sense if we had AA.

I'm pushing this. The chances of MP3 folding and going HU with EP for an inflated pot is too good to pass up.
