A very tough AK from the 1+1

fairly deep into the 1+1 on stars. In this hand, the EP pusher I'm not worried about, its the MP caller which had me really confused. I think that he will call if I push, and I don't want to risk my entire stack considering I am considered a big stack at this point in the tourney. So what's your move?

Also, i havent been at the table long, so no reads. However, I have been all in once with AK, and lost, so the table saw that. We are also approaching the bubble.

I'm folding...push from EP and called from MP. At best against EP you are even money...no telling what MP3 has, plus he has you covered. You have nothing invested in the pot yet.

MP3 is getting good odds if I pushed. Keep in mind, he cold called, so AA and KK are in his range.

Am I the only one that thinks this hand is an example of (if i push) throwing chips out there with no real edge at all?

Ok, slightly longer.

OP pushes less than 10 BB's - his range is most Aces, most pairs, some suited connestors and a bunch of suited Broadways. It's less than 25% of MP3's stack so he calls with similar but somewhat tighter range. He'll have to fold a good number of hands to your push even getting 2:1 and he'll probably call with a bunch of hands you dominate or a coinflip against.

And if he happened to have KK+ such is the game, GG, NH, I'll fire up another 1+1.

And if THAT's not enough of a reason to push - a guy who's playing FT of WSOP $2,500 NLHE 6-Max today says push...
