[ QUOTE ]
anyone who raises $12 to "see where they are" with a $50 stack will not last long. You are out of position and therefore cannot call. It is entirely believable you have at least a pair of kings. At small limits I find a large reraise on a flop with a flush draw means that person is afraid of the flush most times. There are a lot of hands he could have limp called with preflop that now have you soundly beaten, and even if he has a hand like 10 J clubs he has a lot of outs. I would tend to fold in the absence of any reads. I think he flopped a monster and is trying to get your stack. [/ QUOTE ] I think that is weak/tight IMO. What about leading a non-club turn for 2/3 pot and folding to a raise and c/r AI a club turn? 1. Non-club. I think this will slow down AK. Charges for the free card (if he has Q10, charge him. J10[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], is less of a favorite on the non-club turn. 2. club turn Rep the flush, I think this play has a lot of fold equity. And gets some better hands to lay down. And we have a ton of outs. Anyone disagree? Baluga what do you think? |

If you were at the table and have no idea what the raise means, how should we know? From some villains, this is the nuts, from some it's a combo draw, and from some it's air looking to snap off your c-bet by bluffing at a scary board.
I think against most somewhat passive villains, you're behind or crushed here more often than you're ahead, and rarely do you have villain crushed. |

yeah, w/o reads pushing is fine.
If you think the opponent is good enough to call a push with KQ, then c/r the turn all-in. If you think your opponent would raise a flush draw on this flop, push. The only issue with the turn c/r is that you really don't want to see a K, Q, or club. So pushing is probably good here. |

I think you end up all-in at some point during this hand, so why not try to take down the pot on the flop? An OESD will likely fold to your all-in reraise, as will a lot of the weak hands UTG may be trying to scare you off with. Try to take down the pot now.
