Fold preflop, your hand is too weak.
Call the flop, you don't need to protect your hand. It's too weak. Let the flames begin, but you are always beat on the turn. I see no reason not to fold, no matter how big the pot is. Seriously, this guy is never, ever going to raise with less than trip 3's. I think you got this one pretty wrong. |

I agree with fold, but curious doesn't the short handed play allow more diverse hands? I only play full ring atm and have no experience in short handed games. [/ QUOTE ] If diverse means crap hands then the answer is no. |

I don't consider KJo a crap hand.
When I saw it dealt to me I'd be thinking 'raise'. When the guy on my right raises, it would make me sad, unless he was of the 91/50 variety which inhabit .5/1 6-max, and then I'd be happy again, and raise it more. So basically I agree with everyone else... I guess. KO |

Preflop: Hero is Button with J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. UTG posts a blind of $0.50. UTG (poster) checks, MP raises, Hero calls [/ QUOTE ] *blindpost* There! do you see it? Wrong. You cannot call. Why? Ak, AJ, KQ, KK, QQ, AA all have you dominated! KJo is good hand against weak hands and weak players, but a money loser when against better hands (hands that dominate KJ especially) This is a very bad call, costing you LOTS of money in the long run. Do not cold call raises with easily dominated off-suit hands. (straight from the Bible) |
