BEST MOVIE TRILOGY of ALL TIME ??? (w/Poll)

I think the easy winner here is the FAST AND THE FURIOUS trilogy. Oh wait it's not even an option on the poll, rigged.

You know, don't you, that Lucas intended for those scenes to take place on Chewbacca's home planet? He was going to have an army of Wookiees kicking ass, but they couldn't figure out how to do it with the special effects they had then. So instead of Wookiees, you got E-woks, and the teddy bears made it into the script.

I give Lucas a pass on this, because the Wookiee idea was badass, and also it was a kids' movie, for pete's sake.

Right fact, wrong reason. Lucas liked the wookies so much that he wanted to expand their role in the films, so he made Chewbacca Han's co-pilot and created the e-woks to replace the wookies in the 6th chapter.

Two other trilogies that are missing are El Marichi/Desperado/Once Upon a time in Mexico and The Hunt For Red October/Patriot Games/Clear and Present Danger.

My vote is a write-in for the Alien trilogy.

You haven't seen the one with Julie Delpy? It's the best of the three, IMO. A very good trilogy, too, I would vote for it if it were on the list.

I rented it a couple of times but didn't get around to viewing it (watched the other moves I rented instead).

I'm hot for Julie Delpy though (Before Sunrise, her brief run on E.R.) so I really should see it.


Actually, I think I last saw Blue or Red about 10 years ago. Geez, time flies.
