I'm starting to wonder about the motivation behind the constant Ozzie-bashing.

intelligence?

No, it's pretty clear that's not it.

Yeah, Sidney Ponson intentionally threw at 2 batters with the bases loaded, and then he threw a wild pitch for [censored] and giggles.

No, I'm pretty sure it is. Ozzie is a son of a bitch. I used to give him the benefit of the doubt but after what he did to that kid last week he no longer gets it. What he is doing are not the actions of a professional. Maybe I'm just spoiled because I constantly hear and see the very mature and professional Joe Torre.

What exactly did he do to "that kid"? And are you referring to the same Joe Torre that just served a game suspension last week after he and Randy Johnson were ejected for hitting Eduardo Perez?

note to Ozzie: everytime a player gets hit by a pitch does not mean they are purposely beaning your players

[/ QUOTE ]

Padilla hit Pierzynski twice in the same game. Ponson hit two White Sox batters in an inning. Yeah, guys get hit with pitches. But grow up. Everybody knew what was going on.

apparently not...only white sox fans came close to interpreting it as intentional...gmab

there definitely was no malice in the first one

He must be referring to a different Joe Torre since Randy Johnson didn't hit Eduardo Perez.

If by the first one, you're referring to last night's game, I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt. Considering the circumstances, I'll concede that. I'm probably still pissed about the game last week -- no question what happened in Texas was B.S. And it could have played into what happened last night, just like it affected my opinion of it.

Randy Johnson was suspended five games by major league baseball and the suspension will be begin Friday barring an appeal, according to the AP. Johnson received the suspension for throwing at Cleveland's Eduardo Perez in retaliation for Jorge Posada getting hit on the elbow by a Jason Johnson offering on Wednesday.

Throwing at...I apologize for the oversight. It's more classy if you miss.
