Default Ozzie Guillen

Is there a bigger douchebag in MLB?

Showing up a pitcher in front of the cameras was bad enough; now he's got another pitcher throwing at STL batters when his team is up 19-2.

All of that and his other antics are cute when his team is winning, but if they start to lose and he continues to act like an idiot, he'll be shipped.

That is all.

Very good nominations. I think Ozzie is trying his hardest to catch up though.

How great was it when Michael Barrett gave Pierzynski a punch in the kisser, and AJ just stood there stunned?

Guillen is obviously out of control. I predict he gets the boot soon.

In his defense he does give the greatest quotes in baseball. When a sentence starts with, "Ozzie Guillen said..." you know that what follows will be hilarious. He is kind of a douche, but very entertaining. Its hard to hate a dude who speaks his mind like he does.

Yeah, well, maybe this is more wishful thinking than reality. I just like to believe the White Sox management might have at least some interest in having a positive face on their organization. When your manager is a foul mouthed head hunter your team isn't so family-friendly. So if Guillen doesn't string wins together, I really think they might show him the door.

I think he was completely in the right re; headhunting. I'm not a Sox fan, but Ozzie wants the game played the right way. Power to him.

I'm all for allowing pitchers to throw at hitters. But I think it needs to be done with a little bit of subtlty and class. Like, in the NHL, fights have their place, but they're not ordered by some maniacal deuchbag on the bench. The players know when dirty business is in order, and settle their scores appropriately.
