All I can say is that I'm happy it's a full ring article.

You're aware that the word illustrator has multiple meanings, and does not just correspond to someone who creates decorative drawings. [/ QUOTE ] When it comes to credits for books it does. |

[ QUOTE ]
dont quite get why people seem so quick to eviscerate Ed and Dave every time they write something. [/ QUOTE ] I think it's because the expectations are so high. David in particular has written so many brilliant things about limit hold'em (and in such a condescending style), that when they write something that's not amazing it's a letdown. I also think people conflate Ed and David too much - they're very different; Ed has always been very straightforward and doesn't talk down to people and has no problem going over the basics, which is very cool. David tends to jump straight to Nth level thinking and just assume you can or should be able to figure out how he got there. |

SSHE IMO is the best written 2+2 book out there. Ed taught us all how to beat small LHE. |

I don't have my copy yet, but the people who have read it don't seem to be feeling letdown. I think the real reason is that there are alot of people who think they know more than they actually do. JMO

it would be fantastic if Ed put up some video and commentary of him playing SSNL
Perhaps, a session review like the STT guys did with 6 big-timers commenting on each notable hand in a $22 |

Did he say that the way to beat 50NL is to bluff a lot?

im guessing Ed Miller's example is from an actual hand history from 10-max.
as someone who's played a LOT of NL50 in the past, checking like that on the 6-max tables oop is just asking for trouble. also if JTo is calling $3, its for float value and checking the turn will result in a psb, to which you cannot call. i aassume the article is about 10-max, since 6-max is a lot more aggressive and not as passive as miller makes it out to be. |
