Has the Villain shown that he plays differently against the bigger stacks (utg and you) than the smaller stacks?

maybe against me yeah....he never push overbet or anything zany against me...his push bluffs with second pair were against smaller stacks....of course he got stacked both times. He would triple barrel bluff against me....in hand 1 for instance, he had ace hi.

I think against a villain who bluffs when checked to, you have to try to induce bluffs... like this being OOP works to your advantage... let him bet your hands for you...

It is a tough spot though, and obv. can be nerve racking, since you usually have no idea where you stand and should be taking all sorts of stuff to the river if he really bluffs a lot...

Also, watch out for villain adjusting to your call station strategy... make sure he doesn't swithc from bluffing to value betting...

So, basically what it looks like you were doing... nh

It;s very hard to judge these plays w/o seeing the rest of his hands, since you really have to be dialed in to how often / when villain will bluff...

Any reason why you didn't change tables? A 84% VP$IP can be enticing but with him on your left it sounds like a nightmare.

I missed the stack sizes.

I always have trouble with these guys on my left, my pot control sucks.

I can honestly say I do not think I have ever run into a guy with stats like that who also makes moves like you described.

[/ QUOTE ]

That's because you don't call them.

Passive with made hands != doesn't bluff.

[/ QUOTE ]

yeah I made 2 consecutive notes on one dude:

bluff raise c-bet on A high flop with bottom pair [censored] kicker.

limp-call AA and never bet it postflop.

he then proceeded to bluff a whole lot more that session. [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] reads.
