I didn't know about the option to cool off. This is really great when you have a lot to do in school. I always find myself playing poker for three hours straight instead doing school work. How do I go about blocking my account? Can I do it for less than 24 hrs?

Also, consider switching to limit.

I will consider it. Its a new thing to learn, and it can get frustrating sometimes.

If you go on party account, then they have a responsible gambling section, about halfway down, there's a link that not that obvious what it does, but it takes you to a page where you can automatically freeze your account for 24 hours or 7 days. I'm not sure if they offer anything in between.

one more bad beat to add to the list.

some people say, get a good nights sleep before an important exam. I have a SOLID mathematics of waves exam tomorrow morning, so I thought I'd be unlike myself and get some rest at a sensible time. Fall asleep at 9.30pm. Loud banging on my door at 10:30pm, alarmingly loud. I ignore it. Loud banging down every door on my corridor, tutor shouts "EVERYONE GET OUT OF THE BUILDING, THERE'S A FIRE ALARM AND THE ALARM IS BROKEN!". I panic, throw on slippers, trowsers and a hoodie and thats it and head for the neighbouring building. Great.

Told it'd only take half an hour, so I sit in a room for half a hour doing nothing. Later told it would take an hour more, at 11pm. oh, ok, this sucks, still, play a bit of pool, revise a little. 12pm, told a specialist engineer was driving here from SHEFFIELD, apparently 90 minutes away. DAMN it. Eventually, at 3pm in the morning, we are let back in.

WTF

[/ QUOTE ]That was a total pain in the ass yesterday. I was in the Ashburne library trying to sleep and some prick came in and pissed in the corner.

omg... are you serious? you live in the same BUILDING as me?

Mik, I can see you're suffering. You need to learn how to play NL poker. This will easy your pain like a morphine shot in the morning.

You are now ignoring this user. You will no longer see the body of any of their posts.
