I think that you're behind to a bigger pair here. It's a tough spot but I think GP is probably putting you on a mid-high pair and is going with you being lower than him. If one has QQ or JJ, the decision does become much more difficult. I think they are both folds, however.

Fold this quick.

If you had bigger pair, the decision would maybe be a bit closer, but still folding mostly. With GP, while he may run about 33/22 or whatever, i think is much tighter when the chips go in. In his videos, hes constantly talking about how low his variance is compared to others and compared to what people think. I think this is why hes usually way ahead here.

[/ QUOTE ]

Can I have information on his videos........

Does he teach or something?

Thanks

87, 77, 76, 65, 55, 54 are all reasonable hands for villain to have here that you do beat. I don't think it is so clear that you are beaten. I think I tend towards a fold, but it is a very close decision.

I called and he had AK and missed. My intial reaction was this was a very close/marginal call as many posters stated. But after thinking obut this hand for about a week I decieded that this is an easy call vs GP in this spot as I feel his range is AQo+, 88+, along with 1-pair suited connectors with gutshots like 87s etc.

Well sure his pf range includes AQ and AK but how often do you think 1) he is just calling w/ AK here preflop, and 2) how often he actually shoves w/ just overcards on the flop.
I don't think you can just lump his whole range together after the flop action.

Agaisnt me I think he smooth calls here preflop 90% of time shoves ~5% and reraising pot 5%.

I think he shoves here with overcards and one pair gutshot hands much of the time. I would estimate 80% (could be way off here) of the time that he has AQ+ he shoves. I think in the future he will probably will adjust his game so that calling here isn't profitable for me.
