Pot-sized reraise of $1858 leaves his opponent with $264. Isn't that suspicious too, like maybe even more so than an all in?

Edit: I didn't see it was pot limit

Wow-I don't even look at the game type because I always assuemd the word "pot" by no-limit hold em on the tabs was a typo or something.

Well, if you're wondering why I bet the max on the flop, it's because he was calling with ANYTHING on the flop, and often calling with nothing in position just to bluff the turn. As I explained in a previous post, since I kinda had the board crippled, and there was a ton out there for draws, I figured Idd give him a chance to bluff or semi-bluff the turn, and I was going to CR him hard if I felt his bet represented a draw, ( a bet ~2/3rds the pot usually the case with this guy ).

minraise.

wtf? pot it dude.

[/ QUOTE ]
There is not a minraise in the hand. All action b4 river was pot sized, and this was pot limit.

Why the small raise preflop? Why the slowplay on the flop? I think these types of lines make one very easy to play against.

[/ QUOTE ]

he raised the pot preflop

[/ QUOTE ]]

Maybe I raise too big preflop, but OOP and likely HU I almost always raise more than pot. Either way, the flop play is still pretty bad IMO, especially given that he's going to have to follow up a lot of his preflop raises with c-bets against the other blind in later situations.

[/ QUOTE ]I don't get it.

Daliman checks.
Atak4Infinit bets [$119].

I often don't read posts thoroughly enough...is there something I'm missing here?

I like a lead flop/check turn line against this type of opponent.

WTF, I don't remember checking. Grrrr. Stupid bleary-eyed play......

Well then I guess I checked cuz I didn't think there was much he could have here, and I wanted to give him rope. He was taking lead on control drops often and also taking cards off on flops alot, so I was changing gears on him lots. Top set, I will often check barring lotta draws though, as usually there's not alot my opponent is can call with, whereas bottom or middle set I almost always pound, ESPECIALLY if there is any draw out.

Yes, I'm playing both sides, that way I can't lose!
