Well, I had KTo here and clearly, he didn't fold. I still like my play.

[/ QUOTE ]

you cant just make completely random bluffs in headsup pots and expect people to fold. there is no trust because of people like you who do ridiculous [censored]. so even if you think you have the best possible image, youre getting called down by pairs because there is no trust at all. there is absolutely no reason to be bluffing on this ahnd in this spot. its just arbitrary. for some reason you think that is what makes you as good as you think you are. i do respect you still disagreeing with about 8 better players thougb

[/ QUOTE ]I thought there was a chance he would fold a pair of 5's. I wasn't sure, which is why I posted. I didn't 3-bet the turn intending for him to fold a pair. And, as I said, I don't make random bluffs.

I don't see how an opponent can fold this. Especially on this board. I think there are way too many unpaired high card hands that kurosh could be pulling a fast one with to justify a fold.

even if your image is as good as you say it is, which i highly doubt, i'm calling this down. i think your river bet is pretty terrible. he's not folding many hands you can't beat. maybe he folds the one in a million times he has KQ or KJ.

I think the play is ok. He could fold ace high, and one should bluff sometimes in this situation.
Kurosh didn't know the guy had a pair when he raised. It looks worse then it is because the OP was like "how can he call with fives?" when no one will fold fives.

if i were the hero i would have raised the flop, so the hand is going to play out a little differently.

oh, and no, you shouldn't like your play. it's one thing to know that they have a pair of fives, but you should also know that nobody in their right mind would fold A5 against a lag like you on this board. but as i said before i raise the flop so all this silliness on the turn doesn't happen.

and if you 3bet me on the flop i call down anyway.
