no consensus here (besides don't fold the second nuts) because position is sooooo key and flush draws OOP are hard to play

lead-betting large enough that it looks like a bluff with the scare card (bld's proposal) seems like the tricksiest line. Not sure if that makes it the best.

I think that villain checks behind here with one pair; if you check to him he will fire with air and with a set, prolly with AQ.

WRT your original question, if you check and he bets, I would jack 350 up to 1200 or so, and push 750.

wrong about what? wasnt the point that there are no other made hands we are betting there? of course you can bluff anywhere - but this probably isnt the best spot to bluff a high percentage of the time.

I like checking here, and raising a little more than 2 times the bet of 750. If he bets 300, then I raise closer to three times the bet. Looks to me like you have the best of it.

I still think check-calling a turn bet and then leading the river is far superior as it disguises your hand and looks like a bluff much more often.

How about weak lead the turn ($450-$500) and push the river?

If checking -

$300 - raise to $900 - $1000, push river

$750 - def. cr all in.
