Surf,

Do you think you are a decent winner experiencing sick swings at 10/20 & 15/30 or are just a breakeven player.

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't know anymore.

[ QUOTE ]

Do you have a significant sample of hands at lower limits where you have a good win rate? Do you think you'd be better off playing there than at higher limits?

[/ QUOTE ]

I tore up microlimits through 3/6. 5/10 i spent an insignificant 100k hands there at ~1.5 BB/100. I feel that I have the knowledge and the ability to do well up through 20/40, given the games i've sat in.

I'm in a similar boat, although not as bad downswings. -300, +400, -350BB all in the last 25k hands at PTY. I agree about the plus variance and I am a looser player than you. I'm considering tightening up a bit and seeing how that goes. I'm also prescribing myself with a healthy dose of WSEX and hilariously soft live NL play and then maybe some NL 200 set mining or something.

GL, bro.

Chances are you are just a losing player noob who doesn't know how to play. Anyway, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt you noob.

I am bummed for you and I am bummed for the impact that reading these things has on me.

It is pretty amazing how much money can be lost at only -1BB/100. Just think about how much money the true fish pour through at -10BB/100.

This is 58k hands in a month and a half, I've probably averaged like 3-4 hrs / day over this time frame, not exactly strenuous given my schedule.

3-4 hours a day let me guess 6 tabling?

Either way you are playing [censored] so changes need to be made.

Helpmeout,

Are you on your period? Everyone one of your posts today has the tone of a thirteen year old girl who is going on the rag for the first time. What's with the anger.

play 2-3 tables

play 1/2 blinds instead of 2/3 blinds

I may sound like a dick but is 1.5 bb/100 at 5/10 good enough to play 10/20+ without tearing your hair out with variance i.e. you'll probably at best 1.0 bb/100 ?
