What a bad call. The ball clearly wasn't caught and hit the ground. It's plays like this that beg for instant replay.

It was obviously caught, but he did drop it when he turned around for a second. You can't fault the ump, though, Lo Duca picked it up in one fluid motion and the ball was blocked by his body. Obviously miscalled, but ya can't blame the ump here.

I agree. No way the ump could see it drop. Still a classic case for instant replay.
