I'll start...

LaRoche for the Braves - 3-run bomb in the first off Lowe, 4-0 Braves over Dodgers.

Pujols 2 bombs, I say he hits 140 this year.

In his Nationals debut, Soriano gets thrown out at the plate with no outs in the 8th. The Mets go on to win 3-2.

I missed this, but I'm pretty sure the actual highlight of the game was the Derek Lowe face, and not the homer itself.

FYP, and you make it sound like he had a bad game. He was 2 for 3 with a BB and a stolen base.

I was surprised the announcers didn't make a point of this. Even though he was actually safe, it was just a stupid baseball play.

I make it sound like it was stupid baserunning, which it was. Getting thrown out/called out/out at the plate with no outs is nearly inexcusable, especially when the game is on the line. The likelyhood of scoring from 3rd with no outs is so great that there's no point in risking an even semi-close play at the plate. At least part of the blame should fall on the third base coach for not form-tackling Soriano when he started to round third... both should have known better.
