Re: sandwich raising in a four way pot
Eh, I'd lead out the flop. You have so much of this board and no way Button bets this flop 100%. Checking and calling is basically weak, and way too hopeful IMO. Bet and you'll be raised a fair...

Re: ehlp!
The blinds often show up with some combo of 2pairs, sets, and even similar draws here. the guys behind you usually have a bit of a weaker range with low redraw aspirations. You almost always have...

Re: Enough Equity to Raise?
leading the flop is probably better, as a reasonable way to disguise your hand. you won't win UI, but you can check a 3-flush turn favorably in a lot of spots.
a c/r in your line is just fps.

Re: LO8 1/2 bad river bet?
Too short to play this hand preflop. River bet is fine, sometimes you'll get worse hands to call (or even raise).

Re: Did I play this okay? 15/30
it's fine, just one of those hands. you never have a chance to narrow the field, or really a need to. you should check/call the river in tougher games, but it won't kill you to bet.
a preflop...

Re: i think this is really close
posting blind, but it seems like a straightforward check. against a guy who assumes AA, you can only tie and there are a few ways to lose. if he pays off with a king, different story.

Re: LO8 Bad river card. Still value bet?
bet/fold this guy. ~any 2p looks you up here. his turn call has more to do with a low redraw than the flush card. he'll almost never have a straight given that. if you check, nothing you beat is...

Re: 100NL turn nuts, sick river
Eh, it's sorta deep here against an aggressive player...not sure you can rely on any value from a bet. How could you be bluffing here?
I would consider betting stronger on the turn, given the...

Re: I hate donk bets
I'd raise a bigger on the flop against a loose player, maybe 22-25 or so. By the turn I'd consider pushing over that little bet. I think he's drawing too, and with a lot of outs.

Re: NL400: DEEP stacks with fish
Not sure what the problem is. You called preflop with a read, and with a perfect flop and consistent action you're now backing away from the read because the bets are so big. I think most would drop...

7.8 AF is quite high so apparently he's not afraid to play draws or marginal hands strongly. This is a coordinated flop, he may well be on a draw. Your hand is probably the best at this...

Re: NL 25 J,9 flops two pair
Maybe. I'm only a few days into this game and don't know much about these NL25 guys. I was surprised with how sane even the low limit games seem to be though. Anyway.
Without reads I'd assume you...

Re: NL 25 J,9 flops two pair
No way. Too many hands crush you here, and SB has done everything he can to get money in. The pot-sized flop lead is super-strong and your hand can't stand any heat at all. No reason to think he's...

Re: 100nl - Bottom 2, multiway linecheck
Preflop isn't good at all so short, especially with extra low cards.
Postflop your position is a huge minus. I'd lead out fairly large without any reads. You don't mind shoving to a CO flop raise...

Gotta believe this CO 3-bets many hands preflop. The call+flop raise is prob. a range like QJs/JTs/J9s/98s/76s with something like 88 being pretty rare. You...

This isn't that strange for him. That guy gets hit w/ the low+flush screwplay so often that he doesn't fold pairs any longer.
Check-calling is the new sucker's play anyway (at least vs. anyone w/...

Don't play these stakes heads-up without an impressive rake plan. If you do play, figure out ways to make your opponents squirm (on all streets) without putting yourself in too many bad equity...

Re: 100/200 A334
you could just bet the river. if you get raised it's real sketchy... you can probably call. that's assuming you like your hand here obviously.
