Re: Wasn\'t Yvesaint in the well a little while ago?

I suck at search obviously.

The magic phrase it turns out is "+well". Otherwise you get up to the 200 post limit without finding the thread.

thanks,

Wasn\'t Yvesaint in the well a little while ago?

I can't find his Well appearance anywhere. Can anyone link to it? Was it deleted?

Many thanks,

Re: cable modem vs.dsl

The answer is DSL.

YMMV, but where I'm from, cable can slow to an unusable crawl when traffic picks up. I switched to DSL and have not yet lost service. With cable, in the evenings, I lost...

Re: AA At 100NL

This is one of those rivers where EVERY draw just came in, so I think you're in trouble. I would have bet much more heavily on the turn when the board was getting coordinated.

As played, you can...

Re: Monster draw, miss on turn, now what?

I will often make a psb here to represent "a big hand that does not want to get sucked out on". It works often enough and coupled with your draws, I think it's +ev.

FWIW, I don't consider you...

Re: You will know...when you are calm, at peace (theory-ish)

[ QUOTE ]
For instance, when you C-bet with a pocket pair and get called. The turn hits your set, but also gets the straight and/or flush draw there. A lot of money has been lost by people who go...

Re: OFFICIAL PARTY SERVER UPGRADE THREAD

it appears that the party points no longer list "bonus points" seperately. I still can't tell if they are rolled up into the new "poker points" category. This really sucks, if you're doing the...

Re: I NEED Improvement!!!! PT stats

Go to the "game notes" tab of PT. Click the "get all" button (make sure you are filtering for hands with at least .10 rake). Then sort by "net" for you biggest winning and losing hands.

Re: Am I a massive girlie-man with no testicles??? (PP NL100)

I think this is fine. There's a reason he's 56 - 20 W$SD. Against a thinking player, a turn PSB or so is okay, but against this guy it may be spewing.

Once you check the turn, the river fold is...

Re: New Party Bonus for august - Summer Sizzler

The fact that you cannot see what party considers a raked hand makes this a joke.

However, I looked at one week of hands with a rake of .10 or more. My PT and Party stats aren't very close. ...

Re: Villain screams \"I made my flush!\"

With a hand like this, I usually check/call the river. It will probably cost you about the same, and if not, you can just fold. I'm not really sure what a river bet accomplishes here.

I agree...

Re: Full Tilt Advertising - - Will it bring in the fish?

I just recently joined FT after playing at Party for two years. I really like it. The 100% match is great, and I now get a portion of my rake returned to me.

I find the tables tighter than...

Re: 25NL: Commit your stack with QQ preflop with 3 in front?

I would push here given the action. UTG would certainly re-pop all in with Aces or Kings, and UTG +1 prob. called with a highish pocket pair or AK.

I am very reluctant to get all in with queens...

Anyone notice this \"teaming phenomena\"?

I only play BM 3 or 4 times a year, but each time it seems like the 1 2 3 4 seats and the 10 9 8 7 naturally "team" up, and you get an "us" vs "them" vibe going against the other side of the table. ...
