Re: Ivey vs. Corey Pavin golf bet

[ QUOTE ]
I've played golf for a living for a few years and feel pretty qualified to give everyone a reliable opinion. Phil Ivey has absolutely no chance to win this bet. I've given people these...

Re: Bowl season starts tonight....

Sorry to all on that one. I was as shocked as everybody at how bad NIU actually was on offense. Just needing a FG in the last 11 minutes - and getting zero - was just insulting.

Pittsburgh (-3) @ Carolina

I took Pittsburgh earlier this week - figuring this would be a great line if Weinke had to start again. Now Weinke's 100% the starter and the line hasn't moved much - so it was likely already priced...

Re: American company opens Online gaming site

Lot of nonsense in this thread.

Sands is a private company. They are not responsible for Congress and they do not have some special insight into what the Government is going to do next....

Re: Looking to get in on the NYMEX IPO

I wasn't denying the facts. Yes, the float severely increases post-lockup. I didn't disagree that it's something to consider - just with your interpretation of the severity of its impact on the...

Re: Looking to get in on the NYMEX IPO

Closed at $130 today, down $2 and the low for the day, so if you were a buyer today you are already down.

Re: Colts moneyline question

I could argue for either team here, so i'm staying away.

But the OVER at 48.5 looked great - I got in heavy there (up to 49.5 now I think). This should be a track meet - big plays by both teams.

Re: Worst Gambling loss against the spread in your life.

I was on the winning side of it - but the Chris Duhon half-court shot at the buzzer to cover the spread vs UConn in the Final Four was pretty strong.

Re: What is the deal with all the new rooms not having players?

MGM did a great job with their new room by putting it in a high-traffic area - just off the sportsbook and close to one of their nightclubs and a bar. The result is a lot of railbirds who decide to...

Re: NFL Week 6 player props thread

I agree there's value in player props if you're savvy enough to find good lines. It's basically an extension of fantasy football, with more volatility.
