Re: QJo from SB

well the turn raise screams a set of 3s or 7s, i can't think that he could be raising with A7s (spades) in that spot... Q7s or 73s? well some people play it, if we were to take the vpi for 60 hands...

Re: Interesting All-in Situation (Yes, this is limit)

the villian seems to have a flush draw or top pair. a two pair seems quite unlikely unless he has specifically T6s, and the flop donk is a terrible play of a set, which also makes it...

Re: QJo from SB

[ QUOTE ]
My idea is that 3-handed I prefer to call and lead safe turn. Since it's 3-handed CO may very well cap with a FD making the turn very uncomfortable. Our hand is really not that strong. If...

Re: QJo from SB

i like to follow the flat call flop / donk turn line 75%
and reraise flop / donk turn around 25% (when a blank hits of course)

it adds deception, confuses the opponent as to whether you...

Re: T9s flops 2 pr, river is yucky // overcalls

* g *

I would probably call the river in the heat of battle, but more careful analysis proves otherwise: what you can realistically beat is if utg has AQ and the BTN has say AT in all other hand...

Re: I am such a wuss

you seemed to have missed a turn raise there, there was still a great chance that you were ahead, you had 10 out if you were behind, and the first bettor was all-in, so no need to fear a...

Re: SB defense with KQs

ok, lets do some math... after he capped preflop we can put him on a narrow range of hands considering his pfr of 7.5%: QQ+ and AKs, AKo seem standard. but considering that he raised from...

a difficult situation, but still you can't take into account past mishaps... the guy doesn't understand the concept of check-raising, how can you trust that he doesn't just have the jack?...

Re: K9s did I play it correctlyin BB?

the so common check/call flop, check/raise turn scenario... after the river it is common to see that he either had a big hand preflop but slowplayed it, or did actually flop something big...

the sin of not putting your op on a range of hands... I presumed that he had a pair that I couldn't beat by pairing any two of my hole cards, not taking into account that they both were overcards. it...

Re: This might be a dumb question...

ok, the raise is definitely an option here but not for value... you have 8 outs to complete your straight and 1 out (miller et al uses 1.5 out for backdoor flush draws, but abdul jalib uses...

Re: AKo turns into a flush

I believe the 3-bet on flop is great, you have 35% pot equity with two other players, so you make a profit with every cent that goes in. the key point is that your 3-bet doesn't really run...

Re: Pocket 2\'s: Is this good 1 in 9 here?
