Re: What range do you push here?

$11 - regular. BB doesn't seem to be calling with very many hands, probably top 15%ish. No other stacks are low or about to go out. I have 940 in SB and he has 2,010 in the BB. Blinds are 75/150. My...

What range do you push here?

I don't have SNGPT and probably should get it, but for those of you who do have it, what ranges would you push in the following scenario...

Blinds 75/150 (4-handed)

Fold to Hero..

Hero (SB)...

Re: What tool of soft do you use while playing MTT

I recently recieve Poker Office for free through a promotion at Empire. It seems to be working fine for me and it even displays stats right on my table just like PT and PAHUD. Why do the majority of...

Re: $50NL (6-max) play with big pairs

Really, you would suggest reloading even when I have $40 out of a max of $50 in my stack. I knew it was suggested to always bring the max to the table but I should reload frequently if I dip a little...

Re: 100nl - KK versus river overbet

Checking when WA/WB is not good. You need to find out where your hand is ASAP and if you are c/r'd on the turn you can safely fold. He sees your actions as raise, c-bet, check(showing weakness), and...

$50NL (6-max) play with big pairs

This my first SSNL post, so if this is trivial I am sorry. $50 (6-max) NL table. Hero has roughly $40 , QQ, and raised to $2.50. Villain (about $25) raises to $10 with xx. He is not very tight but...

Re: Take the gamble?

I don't think this is a call at all. It looks tempting to draw to the nut flush, but his giant overbet is not the right decision. I put his range at two pair, a set, or a pair with a draw. You need...

$11 Bubble play push

$11 - Blinds 75/150

(6 handed)

Button (hero) 1750
SB 3100
BB 2800

Folded to hero who goes all-in w/ K9s. Is this push + EV or was this a reckless play?

Re: If you\'re Dan 600 is a better bet Here\'s why.

[ QUOTE ]

1. You can outplay them postflop.
2. You have position so you can play the hand a little slower taking advantage of the position.

How can you outplay your oponent...

Re: 4 options on final table bubble and they all suck

This depends on the other stacks at your table, when blinds go up, and payout structure. I think a stop and go might work here. Call pre-flop then push any flop.

What about just calling and playing some postflop poker? Is that out of the question?

Nothing more than you can ask for than to put your money in when you have the best of it. Good job noticing his calling standards for huge raises and taking advantage of it. I would've done the same....

Re: ($55) JJ Hand #2!

I fold this here as I feel it is early enough that a coinflip is not necessary. If these players have been very loose agressive then i would raise all-in but that is only if I had a good read on...

Re: two 10+1 hands

Hand 1: Fold until you are the agressor.

Hand 2: I would call as your chip stack is dwindling and 99 is a spectacular hand for you at this point.

Re: Poker Tracker, What Should I Be Looking At For My SNG\'s??

yeah most of it I think a re-reading is in order. Is power tools that helpful for improving your game? $79 seems like a lot to pay for some stats. Any helpful feedback from those who use this would...

Re: AJo in Super Monday

I think check/folding is too tight. If he had an overpair he would've bet or raised it by now. A set is unlikely as he probably would've raise the flop due to the flush draw. I think you need to bet...

Re: tough decision with 99

Re: So now I\'m questioning how I play AK

Re-raise to 450-500 pre-flop and see what information that gives you. If either comes back over the top you can be pretty sure your beat unless you think that are capable of this with a hand like QQ....

Re: Calling off all your chips with 99

I agree that this not a perfect, ideal spot but you need to gamble and accumulate chips. As Ansky said, there is a long way to serious money and your not going to get there by passing up small edges....

Re: Evaluate this play

I'd just pop it up to about 2500 that way you still have the option to get away from the hand if you choose. Especially since the raiser is another big stack. If you get re-raised then you can...
