Part II (Deuces II and III)

Friday night (Deuce II)
Table twentysomething, seat 2 was my draw. It was not quite all the way to the far corner of the room. Seats 1 and 3 had only cards. A talkative, earphoned, shades-wearing...

Re: Solid 3 badugi against early pat

We've got a regular game going there on Thursday nights. Badugi, O8, 2-7, and last week we added the 1/1 PLO. They also only allow 8 seats, and are taking $3 if full but only $2 if 7 or less.

Re: Solid 3 badugi against early pat

Yes, actual $4 and $8. But don't worry, we all suck: I was indeed drawing thin against his made ten, but he broke it and I won unimproved.

Solid 3 badugi against early pat

7-handed, newly formed 4/8 mix playing wild and loose. SB is a knowledgeable LAG. I'm OTB with A24x 3-card and put in the first raise, SB RR, I cap, and we are 4 handed to the first draw. SB pats,...

Badugi - 7 or 8 handed?

Apparently the Bellagio decided Badugi is to be played 8 handed. Wynn fell in line - both mixed games last night played it 8. Down at GVR we've stuck with 7. What does the rest of the world think?

Re: Looking for Uncapped NLHE, PLO or Mixed games (w/badugi) in Vegas

According to the floor at Wynn, casinos need to be 'licensed' or some such in every game they spread. Wynn doesn't have Badugi in their license list or rule book, so they are not legally allowed to...

We played this in our PL home game for years. It was second only to PLO8 in terms of action.

Re: Flopped straight, deep enough to fold?

So you think $350 is too deep to continue. I'd say that $50 is definately a call. Where between $50 and $350 is the line, and why?

Re: AP story about the Stardust closing

I know this guy. When he likes his hand he'll say, "I bet that much" and splash out a handful of chips. Lucky you to get him HU - I had to work through about 4 others when I played him.
