Re: AKK3 3/6 FLO8

I'm new to O8 as well, but I don't think I bet this flop.

Micro MTT Stars - Flush Draw + Overcards?

This was yesterday, during the Stars 10:00 EST 0.25 + 100 added MTT. We were already ITM when this hand came up. I was just moved to the table, so I didn't really have any reads, but the last two...

Re: AQ on button in loose-passive turbo-like Live SnG

I move on this pot probably. I wouldn't like it anymore than you (if you feel you're much better than your opponents), but you would put maximum pressure on her in this situation (could she call off...

Re: When is slowplaying correct?

Slowplaying on the turn in NLHE can also be profitable as Dan Harrington says in HOH2, where he mentioned the example of betting a strong hand on the flop, checking the turn to indicate a steal, then...

Re: \"Official\" Poker After Dark thread (week of 1/2)

Re: Red Rock- Late night last night

I watched EDOG get aces four or five times and win everytime he was all in for his tournament life. Mouth got unlucky with 55 against 33. AA beating AA was brutal though.

Re: You can\'t win tournaments without winning races

Tournaments do have a large luck factor. This is very true. The best player has the best potential to win of course (because of his skill), but luck makes it very difficult. Winning races is needed...

Re: jj in co reraised by sb

Any reads on the player in the SB? If you are stealing rather easily from this player, he may have been waiting to get his money back with interest by waiting for a big hand. To me, the player is out...

Re: Who\'s better at postflop?

I think the PL player has more skill with manipulating people to get the max out of the hand - but still needs to be aware of where he is in the hand. The NL definitely needs to know where he is in a...
