Default Who\'s better at postflop?

Assuming that both players are identical in skill and have been playing for a couple of years but one started playing PL and the other NL. Who would you guess has developed into a better postflop player and why?

I'll jump in a little later with some of my thoughts.

the PL player is better postflop at PL games and the NL player is better postflop at NL games.

FWIW, I've heard that PL requires more skill from some of the more experienced players around here as well as from some of the pros.

I think the PL player has more skill with manipulating people to get the max out of the hand - but still needs to be aware of where he is in the hand. The NL definitely needs to know where he is in a hand, but the max can be earned at any part of the hand.

For those who voted for PL, don't you think the PL player is somewhat protected from screwing up a hand on any given street where as the NL player pretty much has to play it near perfect to avoid making a tough decision for himself with 2nd/3rd best hands?

Although, I can def see how a PL player is forced to develop good habits. Certainly he can't float with any 2 and probably has to do much more planning if he's going to continue throughout the hand. If that is true then hand reading becomes much easier for the PL player?

Comments, am I off base here?
