Agree with deepsquat, adding I'd only limp if the table was either super tight, or wild with the plan of pushing back over the top preflop.

As it is the free flop reads to me as he hit two pair...

c/f is a very viable option here, but if you suspect he's bullying with the stack, hard read based on your description, lead into him like you have the tp or set with a probe bet and see what he does...
