Re: AK hand
Still have plenty of chips left. I wouldn't want to take AK up against 2 players especially at a new table with no reads for more than half my stack.

Re: Shove here?
No just the one all in so far. But thought process is that a shove would most likely be up against two players seeing as Brewhead called more than half his stack. But the risk is 15BB to win 40BB...

Re: Microstakes Bubble play
LOL at CincyLady. Pretty illustrative story. Perfect reason to fold even AA there I agree. Given this situation, I would get rid of A8.

I spoke to a manager at the HR Hollywood and he said that once they get full casino games that they are going back to high-stakes poker games.
I don't think the State of...

Re: Did I Screw Up?
Yep. What he said. You have a decent stack. Just wait for a better situation.

Re: Oop semibluff late in NL $109
I was thinking the same thing as LC. If he has 99+, and AQ+ he's jamming with that stack..at least I would. Then again that would be a gamble wouldn't it since you're new to the table and you could...

Re: Florida To Get Blackjack and More
The Rock in Tampa had a press release about the renovation on thier website the weekend before the new limits went into place. Seems the plan for expansion had nothing to do with poker, unless...

Re: Do you stack off here?
I think the advice above is clear. The 1 dollar fields play like free rolls. If you're going to call the shove from the cut off, stick the rest in right there. If the BB has a deuce in his hand,...

Re: Blind against Blind, on the short stack
I would fold pre flop as well but since you didn't...what type of hand could he have? I'm thinking a weak king here but I'd be curious to see what other opinions are. But it has to go in on the...
