T7s flops top pair from SB

UTG is 35/5/1.2 over about 100 hands. Seems to call pretty liberally on the flop and river, not necessarily on the turn.

CO is 27/6/1.1 but I have not picked up any specific reads.

This is my first orbit of the table. I do not have any reads and haven't played with any villains before. Comments on all play encouraged. Thank you.

Interesting mixed drawing hand

The table in general is a pretty typical 3/6 game for my casino. At the time this hand was played, it was running 6-9 players/flop, very little pre-flop raising. Most of the players seem to be...

Re: Moving up in limits

Not that you'll take my advice, but it's not a waste of time. Play 10-20K hands at your current level at least. Move up when you're a solid winner and have the bankroll. And don't be ashamed to...

Re: Three terrible AKs hands

[ QUOTE ]
You think you suck at poker because you can't play AK? That's part of it. Based on how you played these hands, I would assume it's because you're too weak-passive in general.

Three terrible AKs hands

I've been trying to figure out why I suck at poker. I think this is it. Opinions?

Fold. You're not gonna show down a winner here very often. I always hate to see the lovely ladies go, but when the morning sun's streamin' in the window you gotta wake up and smell the...

Re: Whiffed overs - linecheck

I can almost guaranteee that you're never folding MP2 with this turn bet. Check behind to get a free card for your weak draw. After checking turn you can call a river bet with...

Re: Q9s blind steal.

*grunch*

Pre-flop and flop look good. Bet turn and expect your opponent to fold. If you get raised, fold. If you get called, take the free showdown.

Re: ATs in early to middle position - flop flush draw

This looks totally standard. I play it the same way on all streets. I often limp ATs pre-flop in early position, but I often raise it as well.

I think you're good here a little better than 1 time in 3. I couldn't possibly raise, but 5:2 on a call-down seems just good enough.

Re: What\'s your flop play?

*grunch*

I would probably raise here. I'm not that afraid of a donk bet from a blind with 2 BB left. He's often just throwing away the rest of his chips. We might knock out the pre-flop raiser...

Without reads:

I play flop the same way. Probably bet/fold the turn. We're getting raised on the flop only by draws or hands that have us beat. Find out which. As played, I play...

Nut flush draw heads-up

Situations similar to this seem fairly common. I flopped the nut flush draw after checking my blind option with one limper. Betting out the flop and turn is my standard line here. Is this correct?...

Re: .50/1 big slick gets a K on river?

Did you have any reads? It seems to me a lot of players at this level with call with just about anything on the flop but then fold to a turn bet. If there's a chance these guys have this tendency,...

Re: TT\'s facing PF cap (line check)

Lacking a read that villain is a total maniac, I don't see how you could be ahead of a flop raise. Getting 16-1, you could peel for image and hoping a 10 comes off on the turn, but...
