Re: 50 NL AQ TPTK = nuts, right?

[ QUOTE ]
I feel like every other hand my cbets are getting minraised by someone.

[/ QUOTE ]. I feel your pain.

I'd usually 3-bet or fold flop if oop, but call seems alright here because:

Re: NL$25- Free card or continuation bet?

Check may actually be good on this board. I've always c-bet in these spots but really what does a bet accomplish here? This hit a large part of villains range. w/ the exception of AK, I think a cbet...

Re: 25NL - Back to back AK hands vs same villain

I agree w/ not folding flop in hand 1, but would a call be better w/ position or does that turn our hand face up?

I check behind in hand 2 if it occured after hand 1.

Re: *** uNL Session Reviews ***: sign up & provisional groups

I'm interested. Not sure of the exact time line for this, I will be on vacation second half of next week.

I currently play 50NL. ~70k hands at micros, ~30kish at 50NL.

Re: Help me with a river plan, if you would... NL50 Set

I agree w/ most of the replies that he will call with a wider range than he'll bet with. Because of the board he'll likely check behind w/ AK (very possible w/ his PrF AF), AJ, and weaker 2 pr...

Re: 50NL: AA CRAI on Dry Flop

I did in fact snap call him. Just looking through some hands from my session and wanted to get some opinions on ranges on such a dry board and the EV of my play.

50NL: AA CRAI on Dry Flop

Effective stacks are $35.25.

Reads: I've only been at the table for a few orbits. My HUD wasn't working so no stats on villain. He seemed to be positionally aware and competent. Semi aggressive...

Re: NL 50: KQs - what is the best line ?

PF - I think raise or call is OK, depends on villain.

Post flop - I think that if you're going to make a play at villain here a better line would be to call flop, raise turn. This reps the 7...

Re: Bad downswing, am I playing badly?

Turn check raise usually means that they can beat one pair. The problem with calling, even though you have position, is that you will almost certainly face a large bet on the river. When he shoves...

Re: PS 50NL AQ against shorty

You do have relative position post flop because you're directly on the PF raiser's right. I think this hand looks good and play it the same. You'll get his cbet close to 100% of the time and a short...

Re: 50NL; 2 JJ hands vs. same villian

Hand 1: It sucks but I probably fold river. You're right about his range and I just can't see AA/AK playing that way unless he's a retard or thinks you are. The weak lead on the turn def. looks like...

50NL: AQo 3 Bet OOP Hits TP, Facing Resistance

Few reads on villain; I believe he's a regular and at the time I had him running about 13/8 but < 10-15 hands.

I haven't been at the table for more than a couple of orbits and have yet to do much....

Re: 50nl: KK on Q T J flop

This math is pretty off. EDIT: To do it properly, figure out the equity against the latter range (it ain't gonna be 100%, particularly since you have hands like AA and QJ in there that...

Re: 50nl: KK on Q T J flop

Hero needs to win ~25% here for a call to be 0EV. Hero's equity against a range of ONLY TT-QQ/AK is ~19%.

Does villain hold AA, 99, AQ, QJ, KQ, air 6+ % of the time? Probably. I'm calling on this...

50NL - AQo Flops Top 2, C-Bet Raised on 3 Broadway

No specific reads on Villain, I have him running at ~27/9 w/ a flop AF of 4 after about 30 hands.

What's your play on the flop here and why?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (6 handed)...

Re: 50NL - JJ played right?

I c-bet the flop because some villains will lay down KK/QQ there. I don't like a double barrel because you're behind too often and it will cost too much. I don't think villains ever folding a better...

Re: NL25 Top 2-Pair faces PSB after slowing down on the River

I think you have to call because you've induced a bluff. The only hand that would have hit the river thath makes sense is 56c. I like checking the turn because he'll bluff w/ FDs and other hands that...

Re: 50NL: Would anything but folding be considered spewing here?

Agree w/ folding unless I have a good read/history w/ villain.
