50 NL AQ TPTK = nuts, right?

Still am, and cannot think very clearly about this hand. Villain is 34/17/1.4. I feel like every other hand my cbets are getting minraised by someone. When my cbet was raised I thought I am not folding out any better hands by raising and worse ones will not call. There's draws out there but I dunno if a draw would checkraise me that small. I decided to wait for a safish turn card and get chips in there. Bad? Villain has awkward stack size, if I reraise flop I don't think I can fold to his push anymore. How should I have played this? How does this change if villain has full stack? I don't know how my preflop raise was to $2, normal for me is to 2.5$ here (4bb+1), probably misclicked |

Re: 50 NL AQ TPTK = nuts, right?
Aah .. min-raise on the flop by 1.4 AF indicates that you're probably behind.
Just call turn, he is not folding after min-raising and leading again, after that try to evaluate river I guess. |

Re: 50 NL AQ TPTK = nuts, right?
Call the small river bet, and punish/stack him on the river for his micro turn bet, if you get your backdoor flush, fold elsewise.
Your push indicates you were really tilting, because there are not much hands out there which he min raises you and you can beat on the turn. |

Please don't post results, they'll skew the responses you get.
I'd just call the turn, you could easily be behind but you have the nut draw. I think he's more likely to call with a worse hand on the river rather than the turn |

Re: 50 NL AQ TPTK = nuts, right?
I ain't folding TPTK for 60BB's, unless the board get's reallyyy nasty. The c/minraise looks scary though (from this particular opponent).
I might just call turn, but this is pretty standard too. |

I feel like every other hand my cbets are getting minraised by someone. [/ QUOTE ]. I feel your pain. I'd usually 3-bet or fold flop if oop, but call seems alright here because: - you have position - it's a minraise - due to his aggression factor you should be able to get alot of info by his actions on the turn. I wouldn't be too concerned about any draws on this flop. The only one that you would really need to protect against is 67, JT already got there and there's no FD. On turn I would just call his smallish bet and try to get to sd cheap. |
