50NL: AQo 3 Bet OOP Hits TP, Facing Resistance
Few reads on villain; I believe he's a regular and at the time I had him running about 13/8 but < 10-15 hands.
I haven't been at the table for more than a couple of orbits and have yet to do much. Is my flop action standard w/o specific reads? [ QUOTE ]
QQ+/44/99/Axcc [/ QUOTE ] Hero has A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] This eliminates a good part the drawing hands from his range, which skews this toward a fold. |

Re: 50NL: AQo 3 Bet OOP Hits TP, Facing Resistance
Definitely a read dependent hand. If you think Villain is a strong player/regular, do you have reason to believe he may recognize you as well? What's your image like? Do you cbet nearly every hand if it's heads up on the flop?
If you think his impression of you is based soley on what you've done at this table so far, then I don't think he's raising that strongly on the flop with anything you beat. Unless he's just in the gambling mood with his big stack and trying to push the table around. But based on your post it doesn't sound like he was playing that way. |
