Re: QTs - Simple River Value Bet?

I think UTG-2 was trying to make another ridiculous "fancyplay-move at the pot on the flop". I would bet the turn and the river, after both players showed weakness by checking. It seems likely that...

Re: A Hand Involving 77 OOP Against a TAG

I would definetly lead out on the turn, since now there is both flush and straight draw on the board. Make him pay to draw.

Re: Too weak tight? 5/10 AQ

I would raise to knock out some players then see what the turn brings. This could just be a continuation bet.

Re: KQs UTG - Value Bet This River?

SB'S river check is fishy. I put the SB on 2 pair 7's and 8's. I think she slowed down on the river because she thinks you might hold AK. Anyway, I doubt she is folding in this pot, with this hand....

Re: 5/10 QJ hand

1. Even 6 handed, I don't like bringing QJo for a raise. This hand is easily dominated and needs a special board to really make pay-dirt. I would even just call with QJs. You want to see the flop...

Re: AK fold/no fold preflop what do you think?

Cap. You could possibly even push out the initial raiser-though not likely. There are only 2 hands that would have you dominated should they present themselves AA, KK, and I would think in 2/4...

Re: A9s here? Thoughts?

I think everything is great except for the turn. Capping the pot on an expensive street when you are still on a draw, even a really strong one like you have, is too costly for my tastes. At this...

Re: More Fun w/ 88

I like this play. On the river, you can be certain somebody is gonna put in a bet so why not do it yourself, thus putting pressure on the opp. It is not outside the realm of possiblity that button...

Re: KJ, KT, and QT

Personally, I only play KT and QT suited, and even then only from late position. I think if played correctly these hands can return a good bet of value. QT suited has some high card value,...

Re: KK spot that makes me want to puke.

You have come this far, you are getting 14 to 1. I'd just go ahead and call. MP1 likely with set of jacks, but I think you will win this one enought to make it profitable.

Re: SB pre-flop play 3-4 suited in 4/8

You are getting 5 to 1 on your preflop call. I have seen worse. If the table is usually this loose, this is fine.

Re: 4/8 at Foxwoods

4/8 slowplay the flop. You are almost certain to win this hand. C/R will only tip off your opp.s to the strength of your hand and encourage folding on the turn. While in return you get only one...

Re: 5/10: AQo facing 3-bet from SB flops TPTK.

On the flop whenever I hit top pair and there are no flush draws, and my opponent to my right bets, I will almost always raise. Itt is an excellent opportunity to isolate your opponents. I would...

Re: AQo U/I. Fire again on the turn?

I agree. UTG likely has a much stronger hand than you. Hands like AQ, AJ, and KQ are good when you are the aggressor. Also, you are playing heads-up, the pot is too small to justify drawing to at...

Re: [3/6] A9s and some weird action

I'd just call. If you raise, he will only call if he has you dominated, so it is a waisted bet.

Re: Bet/fold river correct?

You are getting 9 to 1 for your river call. CALL!. In small stakes, folding the winning hand is a much larger mistake than losing one bet on the flop.. For all you know he could have JJ, QQ, A10. ...

Re: 5/10: Blind battle w/ KQs

I probably would have checked behind on the river. You shouldn't value bet a marginal hand like this in a pot this small. If he made the flush, he would have likely raised the turn, and certainly...

Re: 8/16: AA and how many bets.

Bet. You said yourself the guy is full of crap. If he raises, reraise. Even if he has a four, you have 6 outs to beat him.

Re: Dissecting a hand - AKo, a turn peel?

Seems pretty standard. You are only 6.5 to 1 to make your hand,(maybe even 8 to 1 if the villain is on a diamond flush draw) but you are getting 5.25 to 1 on your bet. The pot is not nearly big...

Re: AK vs the maniac 2/4

Du soelltest diese Hande verlaesst. There is your german.

If you look at this hand from a purely mathematical standpoint. You have 6 outs, giving you roughly 7 to 1 to make your hand and you are...

Re: A2s: Turn Spot

This being 10/20 I would fold. The fact that these guys are loose makes it more likely that they caught a piece of this board. Their is a straight and a flush draw on the board and all you have is...

Re: pp 5/10: Bet this big draw on the turn?

It appears that the c/o is on a diamond flush draw. I think betting is pretty standard here. You have a ridiculous 15 outs giving you around 2 to 1 to make you your hand. Even in a pot this small,...

Re: [5/10] I bluff! You called? I value bet!

This pot is too small to justify going for long shots. I think betting the flop here is good because often it will allow you to see a free card on the turn-here this was not the case. I would just...

Re: 8/16: KTs in the CO.

I would bet the turn for value. You have a monster 17 outs. You will win this hand over half the time. If he had the Ad or QJ, I think he would have bet the turn. At worst, i think he made trips. ...

Re: Button. Black Jacks. Turn Check.

I think you played this good. I would probably bet the turn for value though, you have 2nd pair and flush draw. Betting here protects your hand.
