Only so many fish can suck out running cards on you to cripple you but remember that the winner of any 5+ table tournament likely has to hit a r-r or miracle at some point to win.

I dont think you ever said if the opponent was a tight player or not. A preflop reraise lets you buy info. cheap depending on how he plays the game, if he is really tight and calls then you know what...

Online clearly has more bad beats than does flesh poker.
It might be a good idea to dump online play for a while and just stick with a few hours a week in the real world til you get it straight.
