Can you fold QQ pre-flop?
There are 1000 people left in a $215 tourny. 700 get paid ($315 is
700th, $160,000 is 1st).
You've got 10,000 in chips, the BB is 600.
Dealt red queens in late position.
UTG (9000 chips)...

Re: Can I call this push?
No I'd fold it, I think an M of 11 is a little too high to call this- how's he been playing up to last two hands? His hand may well be better than you think as he is pushing 3 times in a row and...

Re: Flopped straight problem
I would keep betting. It looks like he has a hand he likes, hopefully a set. I would put out a bet of about half the pot to indicate you had a jack before and are now a little worried about the K...

Re: is this an easy fold?
Raise to 400 preflop. Not an easy fold but you are probably beat here by a tight player. Looks like they are trying to shut out draws with a decent hand- two pair, set, or made straight.

Re: interesting spot in wsop circuit event
Personally I fold this preflop you have too many live players behind. You've only played 3 hands and have no idea how tight/loose the table is.
On the flop with a check to you If you make a...

Re: Way ahead, way behind? AJs near the bubble.
You make a good case for checking and now I'm even more unsure how to play this in the future!
What happens when you check/call his flop bet and then he bets tempting amounts on the turn and river...

Re: Way ahead, way behind? AJs near the bubble.
[ QUOTE ]
PF - Generally, you want to bet 3x the BB. AJ is pretty strong six handed and your effective stack/blind ratio (M) is lower when it's six handed so you need to be aggressive. However,...

Re: Way ahead, way behind? AJs near the bubble.
- Preflop: I'd play AJ here and open for a similar amount.
- Flop play: It is a frightening board but you still have to put a bet out here. You are very likely to have the best hand. Bet 2/3 of...

Utz, I am guilty of calling with A10o in this situation on the basis that If an A flops then I can be pretty sure I have the best hand and Ax will call me down to the river. Also I want to keep the...

Re: $4 MTT 180 people, 38 left.
I wouldn't be reraising here unless I had seen him fold in this situation before and still probably wouldn't do it with A2. What will you do if you raise to 3000 and he goes all in or calls?
IMO...

Dependent on reads. Given none I push.
You are a short stack and have to move this round or next. Sounds like opportunities are few to enter a pot first in late position......... Open push,...

Re: AK pre-flop, 4 handed $11 SNG Full-tilt
Any read etc? I would go all in over intial raise- he should have a wide range and you will be dominating a lot of his holdings or a marginal dog to others. You want to win IMO not just get ITM.
