Re: 50 NL- Keeping pot small with QQ

I think the reason it's okay to bet, and that everyone is putting him on a tiny range is that he called from the SB. Only huge donks are putting in $$ from the SB with the odd hands that beat us and...

Re: 50 NL- Keeping pot small with QQ

It would be more useful to know how much he plays out of the blinds. Most decent players aren't calling with random SC's from the SB.

As played I can't see him setting a trap on the river so I'd...

Re: How to play against a very loose aggro opponent out of position?

I think this type of player has a totally different game in raised pots. They want to win every hand, so you're better off raising those hands for future value.

As for my leaving the table...

Re: JJ facing donkbet in blind war

Players like this will felt it with A2, I think there's zero fold equity in raising here.

Re: Poker 101: Maximizing value

[ QUOTE ]

Also, I don't like the flop bet size. I would bet less on the flop, and 1/2 pot the turn.

on any non over card.

Re: How to play against a very loose aggro opponent out of position?

Yeah, I run into these guys too at uNL. They literally call every raise from the blinds and check/min-raise every c-bet and continue their aggression on the turn.

I haven't figured out any great...

Re: 50 NL - Rivered Trips, How Much To Bet?

Thanks for the replies guys. I actually shoved, thinking he was on a TPTK type hand and would look me up. He actually tanked with the ace high flush but called.

After the hand was over I wasn't so...

Re: Gotta fold the straight here, right?

Without a read I'd fold here and I'd make sure to pay ateention to what sort of hands this guy min-raises preflop. Most of the micro donks I see do this with JTs and <99 sort of hands and they raise...

50 NL - Rivered Trips, How Much To Bet?

Villain is unknown, basically I float, bet the turn when he checks and river a third 6, but the flush draw gets there.

Re: TT vs light reraiser

OK, I agree we're not getting called by worse hands, but I still think we're ahead of the villain's range(s):

PP's, AK, AQ + AJs - We're ahead 59% against this range:

Calculation results from...

Re: TT vs light reraiser

I'd also appreciate if OP could mention where he gets his 9% RR stat.

Also I challenge anyone who says fold turn to explain your play. We're really not absent a read here, we can narrow down...

Re: 22 flops boat vs 2 more or less aggro villains

They've both already called a bet so raise it up ($16) and let one of them push on you.

Re: TT vs light reraiser

If he re-raises 9% you're ahead and should shove on the flop. Way more likely he has overs than JJ+ or a set.

Re: 25NL: Playing JJ on a connected board versus a maniac

Looks like you made a bunch of mistakes here, each one increasingly expensive. Based on my experience with maniacs, I'd do the following:

Definately 3-bet preflop, you're so far ahead of villains...

Re: NL10 - good spot to float?

Looks bad. Without knowing this opponent his donk on the flop looks like a weak king and in that case you're dead to two outs. I'd just dump it on the flop, but if you're going to raise, raise the...

Re: Stars modding

I have the same problem on FT and find the best solution is just to zip the graphics folder after I make modifications and extract it after updates.

10nl 6max: River Scare Card, Do we bluff?

Re: reraised AK facing resistance on paired flop

I remember Gelford saying in his recently posted video that he generally c-bets about half the pot as opposed to 3/4 the pot after 3-betting/.

Especially with the paired board here, I think half...

Re-raise or fold preflop. As played, you have to raise the flop.

When to Slow Down
