Re: ($12) Lost with pocket pairs
Hand 1 - I think most people on this forum will tell you that pushing here is standard/correct. I think you get called so often at low buy ins that pushing is -EV and/or unnecessarily increasing...

Re: [16s] open-pushing a small pair
I fold. Too many people to push through.
I might push it when there are less people to get through. Possibly a button push, although I fel much better when the pair is slightly bigger. Not so keen...

TT makes a straight against a shorty
This is really basic and hopefully just a check up, but I am only learning NL cash so Im weak. Firstly, should TT be raised over limpers from the BB? And secondly, do I fold the straight to either...

Limping 1010 UTG is not standard in Tournaments at any point unless it is the first or maybe second level.

dont limp TT k?

I play tournaments mainly so limping with TT UTG is standard - but why is raising TT UTG +EV?
Most flops will have an overcard - so after the flop I...

NL25 TT Overpair vs a rediculous overbet
I joined the table as the BB last orbit so Ive only seen 8 hands here. Also, I have been setting up my tables so havent been paying attention - I have no read. What should my standard line be here?

Re: $6.50 - 75/150, AKo from SB

I shouldn't of said it beats "their" range as it is slightly behind a PP, and it doesn't at all help that we probably lose some of our outs to the second caller.
Here are the reasons...

Re: Few SNG Hands..(1+2 of 1000)
Hand 1 - I call the raise. Check (intending to c/r) then when he bets that much just fold. Your probably ahead, but if hes this bad you can get your money in at a better spot with such low blinds.

$6 HU - Put the SS in with trash?
Villain seems a winning player. He certainly knows decent ranges to push/call with HU. He is this short because I beat everyone down around the bubble with my big stack. He folds 0% of the time, so...

Re: AQ on the bubble - Push over a raiser?
Apologies for not replying sooner.
This is an $11 tournament. Button is not raising 30% but quite likely is raising 20% - Any Ace down to A4, any pair and probably any decent (with a T or better)...

AQ on the bubble - Push over a raiser?
Raiser hadnt done anything completely stupid but is almost certainly the weakest player at the table. I feel he calls a big percentage of the time here as he proably isnt good enough to fold medicore...

Re: Graphzors
Hes an awesome HU player - probably due to the fact hes played 1k HU SNGs. His 9th bustout rate is high, so he gets a big stack early or goes home.

If it makes button think 'ZOMG hes bluffing' and push with A9o then yes this is a good raise. But seriously, you may as well push preflop because 'ZOMG! hes bluffing' still.
Raising half your...

Re: $5.50-2 Bubble Hands with 14BB
Hand 1 I fold easily. Hand 2 Im tempted to standard raise but fold because a push is horrible and a standard 275 raise gets called by the big stacks in the blinds too damn often at this limit.
