Re: A7o Blind Steal

an overpair on the board, and middle pair, in a blind steal situation, your assuming your beat by a donk? i dont exactly buy that rationale. id think him more likely to have absolutely nothing than...

Re: A7o Blind Steal

looks pretty standard, tho i often have blind steal troubles. He seems to have played it like a mid pp, 8's or 9's. i dont think theres equity in raising after the turn donk (especially since a 3...

Re: Well [censored]... 3/6 Absolute JJ hand

fold, BB isnt capping with less than jacks or AK, your roasted. with mp1's call, your close to pot odds to suck the two outer, but you have to take into account that your might be almost dead to kk...

Re: River (straight) play question

is the question here to cap? id say no, but the first raise is a requirement, also bet the turn, youve got a lot of outs even if behind

Re: AK vs the maniac 2/4

yea, im definately not folding an A high against this opponent. my question is: If theres nothing scary on the board, ie: 8 hi board, or even worse, is there any way i can make a raise somewhere,...

AK vs the maniac 2/4

My second favorite party player: 52.6/21.1/5.0. Whats my line from the flop on? I have a tough time folding against this opponent because he plays everything with the pedal to the metal, bottom...

Re: A2s: Turn Spot

yea, preflop im not a fan, but the flop seems standard. id just fold the turn against two very wide hand ranges.

Re: pp 5/10: River value bet?

im thinking of a b/f line here. i dont see ever getting c/r on a bluff, so a b/f would extract value for when hes on jx or 10x, and not lose much when hes on aj, a10, or any other sort of hand...

Re: KQo powerhouse board. 2/4

i should have stated this, but i have trouble reading low aggression factors... when a .7 c/r me, or even lower such as .5, what range should i be putting them on?

KQo powerhouse board. 2/4

Table was pretty LP so i figured on a raise instead of a limp. Im mainly looking at the turn and what my line should have been based on that.
Villain was fishy at about 64/4.3/.7 so the raise kinda...

Re: 2/4 Jump from the boat!!

some other reads, like on button would be helpful. I might raise pre if i thought the table were more LP, but a call is close. I would 3 bet the turn, and b/c the river (especially 3 handed) And...

Re: Isolate with a big draw?

i wouldnt three bet the pot, you probably are the favorite, but i think that you want UTG to stay in, and your handing him an easy out fold. If you scare UTG off, you have no chance of making any...

Re: defending my blind on small pp

i may actually have him mixed up with another player, but im pretty sure he posted that round as i had no numbers on him (although with 6 tables and 2 monitors my PT is bogged waaaay down)

so, are you saying you dont defend this blind against an unknown player? (if this is not true, please give me you evaluation) and i have no idea if he was aggressive or passive, he posted in late...

Re: 2/4 QTs in SB - please help me stop betting!

its a close flop call between a c/f and a c/c. even on a real LP table, i wouldnt donk this flop. the turn bet doesnt really do much for you, id just check

Re: 2/4 check the river?

he had a 1.9 aggression factor. The problem i had was not that the 6 scared me, but that i didnt see him calling me with a worse hand than 1010, so i figured, if i got called, id only be willing say...

Re: [3/6 stars] 77 vs. tight player

bet. hes given you no reason to slow down, and theres a good chance youll get looked up on overs like AK and AQ. this is where i like to see "goes to showdown numbers" but i could see a check...

Re: Was i right to fold this?

its been said, b/c. but i dont understand why you would call a bet and a raise for 2 bets (when your clearly drawing) and then fold to 2 more when ur getting even better return on your money.

Re: 2/4 blind steal with some odd results

the LPP was 54/0 and .32. maybe its my arrogance of assuming i can outplay him postflop. but if he hadnt limped, you wouldnt try a steal against unknow blinds?

Re: 32s in BB...felt like a big LAGtard on this one.

i actually like the line, your always just on the edge of folding, but at a loose passive table, id play it the same way, folding to any kind of aggression after the flop raise.
