Re: Ask CMAR About Costco

[ QUOTE ]
I have a friend who has a couple plasma TVs. I asked him if he was worried about it wearing out because I had heard that plasmas have relatively short lifespans (or something). He said...

Re: Anyone Use a Gyration Mouse?

Thanks. I actually picked up a trackball yesterday afternoon and I'm going to try that out for a couple weeks. If I don't like it, I'll be taking it back and probably trying the Gyration out.

Of...

Anyone Use a Gyration Mouse?

I've been experience some fatigue and pain in my wrist when using a normal mouse and want to try something new. I'm thinking about either a cordless trackball or one of these Gyration mice. If you...

Re: 5/10 SH A7s CrAzY hand

I bet this river and call a cr. You know BB better than I do, but I don't usually get this much turn action from two pair or a set on a monotone flop. If BB filled up and was willing to lead the...

Re: Flopped bottom pair to PFRers right

I peel flop and fold turn unimproved. If PFR bets the turn and the SB calls again, it's most likely one of them has you beat.

Re: 5/10 AT river

Against a new player to the table, I think I make this call 'cause A) I've got a decent hand and B) I want to see what he plays like this. This will start to change his status from 'unknown' for me,...

Re: 2 overs against a LAG

I use this exact same line depending on the LAGginess of the villian. Against most notable LAGs I'm doing exactly this and expecting to see a 6 or A-high much of the time. He'd probably take a line...

Re: Some of the WPEX publicity you\'ve been hoping for

I'm an avid Stern listener and of the hourly breaks they take, WSEX probably has an ad in every other one. In the last week or two, the ads have been talking up the "rakefree" thing quite a bit. I...

Re: AQ 3bet preflop then i improve but call?

Hand 2

I'd want to know how often they fold the turn before I decided to bet. Unless they fold the turn a fair amount, I think I'd check/call this turn. The board is pretty drawy with the hearts...

Re: AQ 3bet preflop then i improve but call?

Hand 1

I raise the turn here, with UTG still in. If he's got a hand such as JT and is drawing to 5 outs, I want him to pay an extra BB if I'm ahead. If SB 3-bets, I can probably fold this in...

Re: c/r after defending w/weak overs

I like the way you played it. Especially against a player who could possibly have anything.

Re: check behind turn.

After giving it some thought, I think I really like the OP's line. As others have said, the PF cap - flop check line almost always screams monster, but I'd really like to get to SD cheap with QQ. ...
